Now that you’ve set your Fitness Goal and a brilliant mindset. You need to form meaningful habits that align with your workout and nutrition goals. My professional advice is that, you should dwell more on a clean diet and let your exercise be fun so that you won’t get bored in the long run.

The key to achieving fitness goals is to form these new habits. And the formula to form this, is by doing that habit continuously for 31 days, and this can be implemented in any habit we want to change in our lives. All you need is 31 days to change.

Start with one habit at a time and continue building it. For instance, your first habit might be to workout 3 days per week. Then, after these 31 days of practicing that habit, you can start the next habit of eating a healthy diet. It is not recommended to force yourself for too many changes, you may easily get bored.

3. Eat Balanced Diet And Drink Enough Water
Every individual need higher quantities of vitamins, protein, and carbohydrates. Eat organic foods to achieve the most nutrition possible from what you consume. Also, take daily supplements if you can. You should always strive as much as possible to eat whole foods and a clean diet, desist from junk food and beverages. But, know that the number of calories in supplements you consume will vary depending on your particular fitness goal and you’re the extent of your workout.

Don't wait until you're dehydrated to start drinking water, as little as a 1% loss of water can result to an increase in core temperature during exercise, and this can reduce your performance. A 3-5% water loss in the body can put a serious strain on the cardiovascular system and impair the ability of the body to dissipate heat, this can result in heat stroke and when the body loses 7%, the consequence is most likely unconsciousness.

Make sure you take at least 8 cups of pure water per day. Also, the best way to drink water is to sip it. Don’t drink it all at once.

4. Make Adjustments To Your Fitness Program
The easiest way to make the biggest fitness gain is by working hard and Making Adjustment to your Fitness Program. This means, we need to mix up our workouts and keep our bodies guessing. We need to keep the program fun and interesting. Don't always dwell on the exact same workout routine! If you always perform the same exercises in the exact same order, you will start to plateau in your fitness program.

Try different type of workout:

  • Boxing
  • Crossfit
  • Hiit workouts
  • Rowing
  • Swimming
  • Rock Climbing

Mix up your routines
If what you always do first is cardio, then weight lifting, it is recommended that you reverse the order. Reversing the order will allow you to be stronger and more energetic for your lifting routine. If what you always do is flat bench press, try using dumbbells instead. These simple adjustment to your routines will push you to the next level. Make an adjustment in your workout today!

5. Rest When You Need It
If you think you need to throttle back or take a day off, do it. You're never going to make the expected if you don't rest when your body demands it. Just remember, needing a rest day and being lazy are two different things. Don't skip a day just because you're feeling lazy - get off your couch, put on your favorite music and keep on moving!
